Collections
The Minnesota Historical Society acquired the Hill Family Collection in March 2008 from the James J. Hill Reference Library, nearly 1600 cubic feet of papers, photographs, and objects. The collection is composed of the James J. Hill papers, the Louis W. Hill papers, the Maud van Cortlandt Taylor Hill papers, the Reed/Hyde papers, the Ralph and Muriel Hidy papers, and the Lawrence Dorcy papers. This website will help you use the collection for research and explore the history of the Hill family and their papers.
Please note: this is a beta version of this site. The site will be updated with more functionality and added information as the project progresses.
